Just wanted to share a few photos of my wee grand daughter who has broken her leg. She has a spiral fracture of the tibia apparently quite common although not in my family. This is a half cast and today she was going back to the hospital to have a full cast put on. This cast will stay on for up to six weeks. Luckily for her parents she has adjusted really well and is still able to crawl around and get into everything she is such a happy baby.

Oh poor little darling girl... she looks such a cutie... luckily things like broken legs dont seem to worry little people as much as it does us bigger ones...

Oh poor baby - though I am sure it is worse for Mum and Grandma than for her. Here's to a speedy recovery and no more plaster casts!

Oh my , my 4 year old grandson did the same thing last summer. He was in a full leg cast for 3 month, wheel chair and all because he was too heavy to carry around. He healed beautifully and has no lasting complications.

Yikes! Poor, poor poppet. Though I suspect her parents and grandma are wincing their way through the whole process as she continues to take the world by storm?
